In Jersey, you will pay less tax. The standard rate of income tax in Jersey is 20% with up to an extra 1.5% for a long-term care fund. However, you may be entitled to reliefs and allowances that reduce your tax bill. You must register for taxes and social security at the Customer and Local Services department as soon as you arrive.

We’ll make an employer pension contribution of 16%, while the employee contribution is 7.75% (10.10% for uniformed staff).
As a full-time employee, you’ll be entitled upto 31 days leave plus all of the normal UK bank holidays. We also have an extra day off in Jersey to celebrate Liberation Day on 9th May.
